The bees from Pelican Narrows Apiary travel as far as 5km to collect nectar from the surrounding native flowers, tame pasture forage, and garden flowers. The result is a light and fruity wildflower honey with slight variations between seasons. The fluid consistency makes it easy to drizzle on desserts and breakfast foods. Also delicious in hot beverages or blended into smoothies.
- Raw & unpasteurized wildflower honey
- Size: 265 ml / 9oz
- Comes in reusable/recyclable bear shaped glass jar
- Source: Pelican Narrows Apiary, by Moose Lake, M.D. of Bonnyville, Alberta
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light. If the honey crystalizes, the jar can be heated in warm (around 100F) water until it re-liquifies. Do not overheat.
Try it in Teta Vera's Honeycake or Fruit and Veggie Gummi Bears.
Note: The government of Canada advises children under 1 should not consume honey.
I received this as a gift and am so impressed with the flavour!
